from the Southern Vermont Welcome Center hand hewn barn frame to the Vermont Teddy Bear king post truss. Vermont Timber Works has been custom designing, engineering and hand crafting heavy timber framing for over 20 years.
Working with architects, general contractors and end users for projects like the modified king post truss shown above. (Green Mountain Suites) AND the hammer beam shown below.
This heavy timber ski lodge is worth a second look...80ft octagon with douglas fir timbers and steel joinery.

Indeed, those are very unique timber frames. The designs are so different from the others. I can also say that they are strong. They are so lucky to have a timber frame like that.
