Heavy Timber & Arched Beams @ Grove City College

The combination of douglas fir timbers with glulam arches make this commercial timber frame project something special. Grove City College contracted us, Vermont Timber Works to coordinate design & engineering, fabricate and erect their new student center timber frame.

Look at those curves, this octagon timber design is quite stunning. Can you tell the arched beams are glulams? No you cant...
