Zimmerman Frame......Post and Beam Construction

Kennebunkport, ME, raised by our crew in September 2007.

Working with Bob Anuszewski of Pine Tree Post & Beam we were able to create this frame for John Zimmerman. Beautiful Douglas Fir Timbers planed & chamfered with 2 coats of clear satin poly to let the natural color through. LOOK at those curved braces!

Look for updates as this project progresses.......Foard Panel is supplying the stress skin panels.

Timber Trusses going to Nova Scotia...

today we are shipping 4 trusses to Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.....I'll post finished pictures soon. Working with Jared Moore @ Dora Construction we were able to fast track this project.

Here is a shot of the first truss assembled in our shop (pegs aren't stained yet). Gunstock is one of the new colors offered by Minwax.......Gorgeous.
